Kristin joined BDMP Wealth Management in 2005 and focuses her practice in two primary areas:

Providing comprehensive financial planning and investment portfolio design and management for individuals and families; and
Assisting business clients in selecting and implementing the most appropriate retirement plan for their business and employees.

Kristin brings over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry to her position at BDMP Wealth Management. She is a Registered Representative, an Investment Adviser Representative, and holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network, Member FINRA/SIPC. She is also licensed for life, health, and variable insurance from the State of Maine.

Kristin believes that financial education is the key to helping clients make smart decisions about money matters. When she is not assisting her personal clients in orchestrating their financial lives, she promotes “financial literacy” to people throughout Maine in her role as the “WMTW News 8 Financial Expert.” In this capacity, Kristin offers advice and answers to financial and investment questions from consumers at www.wmtw.com, the website for Maine's ABC News affiliate. In addition, Kristin is frequently interviewed “on air” for insights on financial issues affecting residents of Maine.

Before joining BDMP Wealth Management , Kristin worked in Boston, MA for Pioneer Investment Management, a mutual fund company. At Pioneer, Kristin was a research analyst for the international equity group. Kristin left Pioneer to eventually become the Director of Investment Product Research and Marketing for Commonwealth Financial Network, an independent broker/dealer. Her primary role at Commonwealth was to oversee and manage the department that provided investment recommendations, portfolio design and construction, and marketing support to a field force of 1000 independent financial professionals throughout the United States.

Kristin has served on the Board of Directors for the Investment and Advisory Products Division of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences.

Kristin holds an MBA from Babson College and received a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. While at Babson, Kristin mentored a number of undergraduates through her participation in the college's Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork program.

Kristin has previously served on the Board of the South Portland Chamber of Commerce. She resides in Portland with her husband and spends much of her free time chasing her two young sons.
