Professional Expert Advice:
The vision for BDMP Wealth Management evolved from a need in the financial marketplace for a trusted advisor—a quarterback of sorts—who could view all the elements of one's financial life, understand how they work together, and offer a more comprehensive and sophisticated level of financial advice than what was available except to the very wealthy. Armed with this objective advice, the client could then implement the financial plan with his or her current advisors or request assistance with implementation.
In 2001, Berry, Dunn, McNeil & Parker decided to expand its offerings to provide its clients with professional independent personal financial and investment advice. Just as the firm had for over a quarter century helped businesses make smart decisions about how to grow value, Berry Dunn wanted to expand its services to include financial and estate planning and investment management for individuals and families. In April of 2001, BDMP Wealth Management was formed.
BDMP Wealth Management brought together a team of professionals including attorneys, investment advisors, and staff from NorthStar Retirement Strategies, an independent financial advisory firm, with tax principals from Berry Dunn. The goal was to create a team of seasoned professionals who focus on the client rather than sales. Most of the team is still with the firm today. Since its formation, BDMP Wealth Management has continued to grow the number of clients it serves, its assets under management, and its professional team.

Although we are a diverse group, we share three common elements: 1) professional satisfaction from working with clients who value advice, 2) passion for assisting clients in achieving their vision of a great life, and 3) a commitment to doing what is right for our clients in all situations. The result is a team of friendly, highly skilled, and service oriented professionals.
Objectivity and Independence:
Since we are an independent investment advisory firm, we are committed to objectivity. We have no proprietary financial products or house brands. This allows us to avoid the conflict and bias that can exist when an advisor is bound to specific products or compensated preferentially for recommending certain investment or insurance vehicles over others. Our independence enables us to make decisions that advisors operating under product constraints might not be so free to make.
We have access to a myriad of investments, providers, tools, and specialized talent. The availability of all of these resources supports our role as our client's advocate in today's vast financial marketplace. Our client's needs—and only their needs—drive our work. Our commitment to this level of client-centered advice is unwavering.
Making the planning process easy:
Clients receive no value from great planning if it is not implemented. We at BDMP Wealth Management are committed to making it simple for our clients to implement their financial, estate, investment or insurance plan. We work with our client's existing team of professional advisors or will recommend competent and experienced professionals as appropriate. We coordinate and follow-through with each advisor to ensure that all aspects of the plan are implemented—that no loose ends remain and that nothing is left undone.
We prefer to work comprehensively with our clients. We recognize there are times, however, when clients may only desire advice about a specific issue or two. In such cases, we are available to help design and implement strategies to accomplish those limited objectives.
